Another wonderful review of Your Finances God's Way. Here's an excerpt: "So what I really loved about this book was that while it WAS about finances, it wasn’t JUST about finances. LaPierre’s approach in this book makes it a point for us to be good and faithful stewards of WHATEVER God has entrusted us with. Money is an easy asset for us to understand handling responsibly, but it’s also gifts, talents, children, ministries, jobs, etc. It’s everything God has given us! I liked that he emphasized that while shouldn’t be wasteful with our finances, our goal shouldn’t ultimately be wealth. It’s to be faithful with what God has given us and use it for His glory. Although I was already looking forward to this one, I’m glad that I was surprised just how much I got out of it. Definitely worth the read!"

Sunday's sermon turned into a blog post with audio and video:
https://www.scottlapierre.org/naamans-pride/
Naaman’s pride nearly cost him everything – don’t let it happen to you! In 2 Kings 5:1–14, we witness a powerful story of how Naaman’s pride nearly prevented him from receiving God’s healing and salvation. We, too, can be blinded by our own expectations. The story of Naaman’s pride is a warning for all of us: don’t let ego or expectations block the work God wants to do in your life. Recognize the signs of pride and discover how obedience and humility lead to transformation.

“Staying true to the approachable and encouraging style of the original book, this workbook is written in a clear and engaging style that not only challenges readers to pursue growth but is also truly encouraging and uplifting. Over three months, readers are invited to become more deeply rooted in Christ, with LaPierre artfully drawing on the metaphor of a believer as a tree, whose strength and stability come from its root system grounded in Christ." #beingcontentgodsway
