Why does God test us as Deuteronomy 8:2, Psalm 26:2, and other verses describe? Read or listen to this chapter from Enduring Trials God’s Way to learn how trials prove your faith!

"I used to be a school teacher, and now I am a pastor. Both professions involve instructing others. I do not want to sound overly simple, but good teachers provide information people do not already have. If they already knew it, they would not need the instruction! Most letters in the New Testament are instructive. There is the occasional time an epistle will say, “I want to remind you…” but primarily they were written to provide new information. This is why James 1:3 is so unique! In the ESV and NIV it says, “You know that the testing of your faith produces [patience].” James was not teaching something new. He was telling readers what they already understand about trials. They test our faith!"

Jesus stood before Pilate falsely accused, unjustly treated, and surrounded by hostility — yet He remained calm, composed, and fully trusting His Father.
In this message, we draw three powerful lessons:
1️⃣ Trust in God produces composure in trials
2️⃣ The Innocent One suffered for the guilty
3️⃣ Jesus isn’t on trial—we are
If you're walking through difficulty or injustice, Christ’s example will strengthen your faith and point you to hope.

Few passages expose the darkness of the human heart—and the beauty of Christ’s innocence—like Jesus’ illegal trial before the religious leaders.
He was mocked, blindfolded, beaten, and condemned… all while remaining the sinless Son of God who willingly suffered for our salvation.
This message walks verse-by-verse through Luke 22:63–71 to show:
• the wickedness revealed in human depravity
• the innocence and obedience of Christ
• why Jesus had to suffer this way
• what this means for your walk with God today
