When Jesus died, the temple veil was torn in two. Why does that matter?
Because the torn veil showed that Christ opened the way for sinners to come to God. What had once been closed under the Old Covenant was opened through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
In this sermon, I explain what the veil represented, why access to God was restricted in the Old Testament, and what Luke 23:45 teaches us about the gospel.
