On Saturday afternoon I learned that there was no one to lead music on Sunday. We both looked at Ricky, but he's only 14 and has never even led a small group before. Ricky surprisingly said he was willing. Our hearts were filled with joy to watch him and sing with him. It's extra special thinking about how he wasn't even two years old yet when we moved to Washington and started attending WCC! What a gift to watch him grow in the same church family.

When Jesus died, the temple veil was torn in two. Why does that matter?
Because the torn veil showed that Christ opened the way for sinners to come to God. What had once been closed under the Old Covenant was opened through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
