Daniel 9:24-25 loosely reads, “Seventy weeks are determined for your people and your holy city…from the going forth of the command to rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince, there shall be sixty-nine weeks” or 483 years. The disciples had heard that Jesus was risen, but when He stood among them, they were startled and afraid. Jesus graciously handled their doubt by showing them His hands and feet, inviting them to touch Him, and eating in front of them.
The resurrection was not a symbol, feeling, vision, or metaphor. Jesus was physically, bodily, and permanently raised from the dead.
