"The author thoroughly provides sound reasons and examples (Biblical verses and other sources) for the things he writes. One reason I like this author's books is that they are easy to read and understand. Sometimes, nonfiction books aim to teach us something too technical, but not Scott. I think this is a book all Christians should read at least once, if not more than once."

When Jesus died, the temple veil was torn in two. Why does that matter?
Because the torn veil showed that Christ opened the way for sinners to come to God. What had once been closed under the Old Covenant was opened through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
In this sermon, I explain what the veil represented, why access to God was restricted in the Old Testament, and what Luke 23:45 teaches us about the gospel.
